Changelog
What's new
Every change to the guide, the AI check, the generator and the open index, newest first. The code and its full history are open on GitHub. Changes to the register itself (businesses added or removed) are in the public register changelog.
9 October 2026
- New: businesses in the guide. A page with every business that has registered, in random order and never ranked, and one page per business that links to its own website. AI assistants that search the web can now find and cite them.
- Sitemap: now covers all the guides as well as the tools and the business pages.
7 October 2026
- Registration is easier. One schema.org snippet in the head of your front page is enough.
llms.txtandai-catalog.jsonare optional extras. - New guide: add the snippet to your website. Where to paste it in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and Webflow, and which plans allow it. Read it.
- Generator: gives a paste-ready snippet first, and says for each file whether you need it.
- AI check: when your site already describes the business, it says «Looks ready to register» and opens the form with the address filled in.
- Norwegian businesses: the organisation number can be typed in the form instead of placed in the card, when Enhetsregisteret lists the same website.
- Website: the English pages are written for businesses in any country, and of every size.
6 October 2026
- Connector and MCP registry (1.5.1): described as what it is: a guide to businesses in any country, plus public services and political parties in Norway.
- Connector: all five tools now declare that they only read, never delete and give the same answer each time (
destructiveHint, idempotentHint), so agent directories can trust them. Found by an independent MCP trust index. - AI check: finds a business's own AI agent through its A2A agent card (
/.well-known/agent-card.json), lists the agent's skills under «open for AI», and checks the card for hidden instructions to AI. A first step towards the customer's agent talking to the business's agent.
5 October 2026
- AI check: a clear next step. When a site lacks a schema.org business description,
ai-catalog.jsonorllms.txt, the result shows a button straight to the free generator with the web address filled in. - New guide: agents fill the cart, customers pay as today. A recipe for letting a visitor's own AI agent search products and fill the cart on the shop's website, while the customer pays in the checkout the shop already has. Read it.
- New overview: paying through AI agents. The payment solutions and open protocols that are coming, with status and sources, listed neutrally. Read it.
- New guide: let AI agents use your forms (WebMCP). Three HTML attributes on the forms a business already has. Read it.
- Generator: an optional request form that AI agents can fill in, made from the business's own request details. Off by default; the customer still clicks Send.
- AI check: lists WebMCP tools under «open for AI» (no points yet, since WebMCP is experimental) and checks their descriptions for hidden instructions to AI.
- Registration: a business card with hidden instructions in its WebMCP descriptions is not listed.
4 October 2026: VegvisAI is open
- The website, the AI check, the generator, registration and the connector opened on vegvis.ai, and the code repository became public.
- The connector is listed in the official MCP registry as
ai.vegvis/vegvisai. - AI check: main headings now give points in proportion to the pages that have one, and the advice names the pages without one. This came from the first user's feedback on launch day.
llms.txtandai-catalog.jsonfor vegvis.ai rewritten for the open platform.
3 and 4 October 2026: system test before opening
- Finding businesses: a request now matches word by word and other word forms, so «bakeri» finds a bakery and «bursdagskaker» finds birthday cakes.
- Registration: specific business types such as bakeries are recognised without an organisation number, and the public changelog shows the real reason for a manual review.
- Open index: a replaced monthly release can no longer list a business that asked to be deleted.
- Privacy: the content of removed entries is deleted after the next monthly release, at the latest after 35 days.
